Does anyone know of a tutorial that shows step by step how to animate text in photoshop elements 6.





I've got it to animate puppy dog toes and I've very proud of myself, but that's not exactly helpful.





I need it to blink a short phrase (KeeperBay.com) then blink another short phrase (Free Stuff), then another (KeeperBay.com), then another (Free Clothing), then another (KeeperBay.com) and so on. Get the idea? The domain is seen then whatever is free, then the domain again.





When I animated the puppy dog foot prints I just changed the color and moved them up the screen, but I need to actually change the wording now.





I know if any one can help me, it's someone here.

Text is done the same way you did the puppy prints except the text layers will be right on top of each other. You didn't say whether the text is just going to blick on and off (put an empty layer between the text layers) or change color. Your problem is going to be determining how many layers you should do for each set of text. You're going to have to experiment to find out. Once you get the first two sets coordinated, you do the rest the same way. And you only need to type each group of words once. When you want to change the color duplicate the text layer, drag the text tool over the words to highlight them and change the color up in the text tool options bar above the workspace.

How do i go about creating exploding text and an AFL goal kicking tutorial in Adobe Flash CS3?

I'm trying to make an AFL goal kicking flash video in Adobe Flash for school. I'm not that good at animating it. What i want to do is have a title at the start Goal Kicking.... and make the letters explode into different directions after a while.. How do i do this with the frames?





Would it be easy to animate the ball travelling through the air?

Second, if you are going to create this video from scratch then u should draw the setting separately on a program like adobe illustrator CS 3 or Photo shop CS3... you need to make every moving object in a separate layer. after you finish import the file to flash then use motion tween tool ( right click the object and select ';create motion tween';) ,,, you just need some patience and creativity to create it.

Not sure what you are wanting to do. But if it is to put portions of a face image into text, try this.





Select white as your foreground color. Select the text tool and type away. Use a nice big fat font. Then with the Text layer, select the blending mode of Multiply.

fireworks isn't that strong of a graphics editor, and I think most of the graphics you can create are vector shapes. I could be wrong in this, but either way if you are interested in creating graphics, you should look into a raster graphics editor. Photoshop is standard, but expensive. Gimp is free, but less can be done with it, and it's a little harder to learn. Then again both are really hard to learn, there are just more tutorials for photoshop. Good luck.





And Fireworks was originally used to do quick mock ups and prototypes, not full fledged web design. It just isn't that good.

Photoshop elements 7 text tutorials.?

hello. i need some tutorials on how to create fancy looking text on photoshop elements 7. i have searched many sites and got a lot of results, but all of them are for older versions of photoshop, so it is considerably different, and could not follow the instructions because of that. what i need is some text altering tutorial sites SPECIFICALLY for photoshop elements 7. does anyone know of any?Photoshop elements 7 text tutorials.?
We usually just use Layer Styles in the Effects Palette. If this palette is not on your workspace, go up to Window in the Main Menu at the top and click on Effects in the dropdown. Once the Effects Palette is open (click the little arrow on the left side next to ';Effects'; to open and close it), hover your cursor over the row of icons on the left. The second one from the left should be Layer Styles...click it. Now, click the dropdown menu over the right side to expose all the different ways you can change your text. You can also use these to change anything on a layer of its own like a selection. You can bevel, add shadows, glows, stroke (outline) and a bunch more. You can also add more layer styles but it's best to get familiar with the program before you jump into making it more complicated;-)





Once you apply a layer style (or two or three), you'll see ';fx'; appear on the right side of the text's layer in the layer palette. Click on the ';fx'; and the styles control dialog will magically appear and let you tweak the styles. You can increase/decrease the size of bevels. You can change the color, size, distance and opacity of shadows and glows, etc.





Use the Text Tool to highlight your text, then click on the T with the curved line under it up on the Text Tool Options bar above the workspace. This will allow you to put the text into shapes and on paths.





If all the layer styles won't do enough to fancy-up/alter your text, please use ';additional details'; on your question to tell us what you want to do to text and help us narrow the search.





Oh..... you can use all the tutorials for version 6, too.
